Frankie Chow and Alisha Pawa, featured in this issue of AFP eWire Canada, are two of the 35 inspiring trailblazers currently participating in the first cohort of the Fellowship in Inclusion and Philanthropy program. This program offers inclusion-oriented education, specialized training, networking activities and one-on-one mentorship for participating Ontario-based emerging and mid-level nonprofit professionals representing a wide range of diverse identities and interests. (Click here for pictures and to read more about each Fellow.)
This program is AFP Foundation for Philanthropy Canada’s diverse leadership initiative, helping to further develop the fundraising landscape by building a pipeline of leaders that reflect the diversity of our communities in Ontario.
We are very excited to see where this program takes us; the lessons we will learn and the impact it will have on the social profit sector. We are pleased to be able to run this program for two consecutive years, offering another 35 Fellows this same opportunity.
The deadline for completed applications into the next cohort is Friday March 4th 2016 at 5 pm.
You can learn more about our current Fellows by reading their guest blog posts at Stories from the Field.
