Welcome to the Mid-Hudson Chapter of AFP

On March 27, the Mid Hudson Valley Chapter of the Association of Fundraising Professionals hosted its first annual Diversity Month event at the Cunneen-Hackett Arts Center in Poughkeepsie, NY.

Guest speaker, Beverly L. Herbert, MCP, MDiv, CFRE, spoke about "Diversity and Inclusion: Paths to Increased Revenue and Collaboration" to close to 50 attendees from non-profit organizations throughout the Hudson Valley.

The AFPMHV Diversity Committee was created to ensure that diversity is incorporated into all aspects of the chapter's operations, including its membership, its activities, and even in the populations of its members' organizations.
