On November 18, the Mid Hudson Valley Chapter of the Association of Fundraising Professionals recognized six individuals and organizations at the fifth annual National Philanthropy Day Awards Luncheon at the Powelton Club in Newburgh, NY.
National Philanthropy Day is recognized throughout the North America as a celebration of philanthropy. Every year the AFP Mid-Hudson Valley Chapter honors individuals and groups, who through their hard work and dedication have enhanced philanthropy in their communities and around the world.

Jan 8 - Every Member Campaign
Thanks to support of the Every Member Campaign, 133 AFP members were able to attend the International Conference on Fundraising in Chicago this March as Chamberlain Scholars. The Foundation also funded development of the AFP Ethics Assessment Inventory (EAI) to help fundraising practitioners and organizations assess and strengthen ethical dimensions of their practice. Jan 8 - Director of Development Services
Duties: The Director of Development Services is responsible for management oversight of all constituent and gift information maintained in the College's Banner database.
Responsibilities include preparing reports, gift processing and data entry documentation, records maintenance, use and support of computer-based information systems, and direct supervision of gifts and records processing staff. This includes implanting a regular schedule of information updates (bad address, phone number and emails), creating of new parent and alumni records, and incorporating biographical information and links received from a variety of sources.
