Reports To: Sr. Vice President of Human Resources and Quality Assurance and Director of Development and Public Relations SUMMARY OF PROFESSIONAL FUNCTION The Senior Associate of Engagement and Development builds new relationships while deepening and engaging current relationships to retain and recruit staff and build the Access image through branding and engagement activities. The Senior Associate of Engagement and Development has functional responsibility to independently plan, communicate, analyze recognition as well as researching and presenting and implementing staff recognition strategies and programs. In addition, this role supports the social media and web of the organization showcasing staff engagement, while maintaining a strong community voice through the Agency Web which strengthens the agency’s mission of rewarding lives and healthy communities. Superior written and verbal communications are essential as well as ability to multi task and set priorities with little input and direction to support an organization that employs over 1200 staff, provides a wide variety of services, and is spread across 9 counties. The Senior Associate of Engagement and Development manages internal and external relationships, is an active energetic problem solver, optimistic, solution focused, and able to work both in a team setting and independently. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS • Create new relationships that will lead to enhancing agency and staff retention and engagement. • Enrich and deepen relationships with individuals, staff, leadership and community. • Leads, develops and supports employee relations practices which support and enhance positive employer/employee relationships and promote high employee morale.
